The Ashmaw is a walking ember — a zombie burnt so completely it smolders forever, embers pouring off its hands and jaw. It doesn't throw fire, it IS fire: it closes the gap and immolates you with its bare hands. Every hit that lands sets you alight.
Battle Plan
- ›Flame-Retardant Gel hard-counters it — two minutes fire-immune and its burns do nothing.
- ›It has NO ranged attack — every bit of its danger is in melee, where a single swipe lights you on fire. Kite it and shoot it down from a distance.
- ›Never fight it in a doorway or corridor where you can't back out of the flame.
Tip · Range is your armor. The Ashmaw can't reach you from afar — keep moving, hit it from distance, and pop Flame-Retardant Gel before any unavoidable melee.
