The Pyre Tyrant is a 28,000-HP Apex wreathed in flame, hands trailing fire, glowing furnace-orange. Unlike most bosses it fights at range: it lobs fire at you from across the arena, then ignites you if you let it get into melee.
Battle Plan
- ›Drink Flame-Retardant Gel before you engage — two minutes of fire immunity turns its whole kit into a light show.
- ›Use cover against its ranged fire attack; break line of sight to force it to close, then punish.
- ›Per-hit damage cap (700) — sustained DPS beats one big nuke. Keep the trigger down rather than saving for a crit.
- ›It's on the slow side (aggro speed 0.85–1.1). If you're caught without gel, kite it and never let it corner you.
Tip · No gel, no melee. Its touch ignites you outright — if you're not fire-warded, keep your distance and shoot.
Drops the Apex Spoils crate and a Survival Coin to every attacker.
