🥾Terrain & Movement
Ground types that slow you down, and the boot mods that beat them. · 6 items documented.
Terrain matters on Relics. Moving through certain ground puts a slowing effect on you. Tree climbing (players only) is also possible.
| Ground | Effect |
|---|---|
| Deep Snow | Less traction and mobility |
| Loose Sand | Shifting footing |
| Broken Desert Hardpan | Soft pockets and fractured crust |
| Uneven Ground | Soil and roots cut running efficiency |
| Unstable Rubble | Masonry and debris disrupt footing |
| Thick Grass | Grass catches your legs |
| Dense Brush | Undergrowth blocks you |
| Asphalt, concrete, packed gravel | Good footing |
| Water | Swimming resistance |
